In Nigeria, the headline inflation fell to 18.02 per cent in September, 2025, compared to 20.12 per cent in August.
It is the sixth consecutive decline in headline inflation in Nigeria this year.
This was revealed by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, on its Consumer Price Index and Inflation Data published on Tuesday.
According to the NBS data the inflation in the country dropped by 0.72 per cent on monthly basis.
The CPI figures pointed out that the food inflation rate was at -1.57 per cent month-on-month.
In September 2025, the rate of inflation reached the headline of 18.02 per cent as compared to the rate of inflation in August 2025 at 20.12 per cent.
The inflation rate of the headline inflation rate of The MoM was 0.72 per cent in September 2025.
The food inflation rate stood at -1.57 per cent MoM stated by the NBS.
The growth is coming on board with Chief Executive Officer of Financial Derivatives Company, Bismark Rewane claiming in his recent analysis that the inflation rate in Nigeria would reduce to 18 per cent in November 2025.
