NNPCL Lowers Fuel Price

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has announced a reduction in the price of premium motor spirit.

It was gathered that NNPCL retail outlets in Abuja have decreased their petrol pump price from N945 to N910 per litre. This price change was observed at various NNPCL filling stations, including those in Zone 6, Kubwa Expressway, and Wuse Zone 4, among other locations in Abuja.

The new price reflects a N30 decrease from the previous rate of N945 per litre. This adjustment comes just four days after Dangote Refinery lowered its petrol ex-depot price from N880 to N840 per litre, attributed to a decline in global crude oil prices.

Additionally, members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association have also announced price reductions, with petrol now ranging from N930 to N940 per litre in Abuja, down from N945 to N975, and in Lagos State, the price has dropped from N925 to N890 per litre.
