Chicken Republic Expands Nationwide Presence with New MMIA Outlet
In a bid to broaden its reach across the nation, Chicken Republic has inaugurated a fresh branch within the arrival concourse of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
According to a recent announcement, the company emphasized its commitment to delivering consistent quality offerings and exceptional services at the newly established outlet situated within the arrival hall of Lagos Airport.
Mr. Jide Onalaja, the Director of Mirror Foods, a Chicken Republic franchisee, lauded the brand as a prominent figure in the industry, citing its reputation for excellence.
Onalaja disclosed that the company secured a concession from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria to replicate similar outlets across all airports in the country, with Lagos being the starting point.
With approximately 300 outlets spanning Nigeria and Ghana, Chicken Republic stands as one of the largest brands originating from Nigeria, with plans for expansion into Canada and the United Kingdom underway.
Onalaja highlighted the affordability and consistency of Chicken Republic’s meals, underscoring the uniformity of standards maintained across all outlets globally.
Regarding the new terminal at MMIA, Onalaja expressed optimism, noting that the timing was opportune to introduce a fresh dining option to airport visitors.
He emphasized the aim to contribute to the overall ambiance of the airport while providing a well-established and well-received dining experience.
Recent data from Euromonitor International, a leading global market research provider, revealed that Chicken Republic leads the quick-service restaurant segment in Nigeria, boasting the highest sales value of N60.9bn, followed by Sweet Sensation and Mr Bigg with N4.58bn and N2.68bn in sales value, respectively.
