Glo to finally acquire 9mobile January 16

An unconfirmed report says the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has approved the deal that 9mobile would be sold out to Globacom on January 16, 2018.
The NCC  has said that the date of handover won’t be postponed.
If Glo successfully acquire 9mbile, it would make the telecom giants the largest data network in Nigeria.
This is happening after 9mobile got a change of name from Etisalat to 9mobile
This will give Globacom the full access to 9mobile, including access to their database and information. 
Telecommunications analysts are cautiously optimistic that Glo would improve upon its network coverage after fully acquiring 9mobile.
