Abia to send youths on shoe-making training in China

Thirty youths have been selected by the Abia State government to proceed to China for training on automated shoe-making. 
The move forms part of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s Made-in-Abia campaign.
These individuals, comprising seven ladies and 23 males, are from Ebonyi, Imo and Anambra states.
A valedictory session was organised for them with an ordained priest presiding to bless them before the trip. They will depart on Monday.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Public Communications, Sam Hart, made this known via his twitter page.
Hart further explain that ab advance payment had been made for equipments, which the trainees could use, when they returned to further ensure that what they would learn would be practically utilised.
